Youth Volleyball League
Age Groups will be
Juniors Division for Grades 3-5 and
Seniors Division for Grades 6-8
Youngest Player age 8 by 9/1/26
Oldest Player not yet 14 By November 1, 2026
Learn the fundamentals of the game of volleyball, while enjoying basic play experience. All practices in Poquoson.
Players who have or are playing JV are not eligible to participate in this recreation league.
Specific practice and game times will be announced based on gym availability.
Season runs from Mid-September to early November approximately.
Volunteer coaches needed.The league can only accept players if we have enough coaches to support the number of registrations.
Cost: $90. resident/$100. non-resident. Deadline to register is Friday Aug. 28.
Registration after the Deadline is a $15.00 late fee.
Non-residents DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REGISTER ONLINE.
Non-resident registration will only be taken in person at the Parks and Recreation Office on August 26, 27, and 28 If Spots are available in your respective grade division.
Game days will be on Saturday Afternoons and some weeknights as referees are available. Teams will play up to 2 games a week for a total of 10 games.
Volunteer Coaches are needed to support the league. League anticipated to start mid September but may be delayed if we do not have enough coaches. If you are available to assist please let us know during registration. Each division is limited to the number of players that we are able to accommodate based on gym space and availability. Each division is first come first serve for residents.
