Spring 2024: Art By the Month
This series of classes on Mondays will meet from 4:30-6:00pm at the Municipal Building and will marry science and art, allowing the students to explore a variety of art materials as we delve deep into different animal home habitats and adaptations.
January It’s Cold Outside! Jan 8, 15, 22, 29 We will look at animals that live in the cold and study their furs, footprints, food, and landscapes when in their native habitats. Cost per student $70.00 residents/ $80 non-residents all materials, supplies provided
February The Deep Oceans! Feb 5, 12, 19, 26. We will look at a variety of creatures with fins and flippers who live in communities under the sea and the beautiful environments that they inhabit. Cost per student $70.00 residents/ $80 non-residents all materials, supplies provided
March Forests and Woodlands! March 4, 11, 18, 25 This class will be a study of trees and animals (that live high and low) and their particular traits that help them thrive in their wooded homes. Cost per student $70.00 residents/ $80 non-residents all materials, supplies provided
April The fin of flight through Wings! April 8, 15, 22, 29 This class will study the flight and fun of animals with wings. Create a variety of art using paint, drawing and more as you dive into the fun of birds and more. Cost per student $70.00 residents/ $80 non-residents all materials, supplies provided
